At hostgator hosting a shopping cart is as simple as 1-2-3. And to show you just how simple it really is I decided to do a hostgator review on the osCommerce installation we did via fantastico. As some of you may already know osCommerce is a free ecommerce script to use for a shopping cart. Installation of osCommerce usually isn't for the faint at heart. However, due to cPanel and fantastico you can have it running in a matter of minutes.

Directions to install via fantastico -

Log on to your hostgator hosting cPanel
Click on the Fantastico De Luxe icon
Under E-Commerce choose os Commerce
Then you will click on the new installation link
Fantastico will ask you which domain you would like to install osCommerce on and a few simple questions such as shop name, owner name, etc, etc.
